Activate Nexym Backups
Nexym Backups is our daily backup service. It provides your entire hosting account with backups that run on a daily basis and back up all components on your hosting account, along with a data restore tool.
You can activate Nexym Backups on your hosting service from your customer portal.
The Nexym Backups service will backup and provide restores for:
- Website files
- Databases
- Database users
- Email accounts
- Cron jobs
- DNS zones
- FTP accounts
1. Log in to your Nexym user portal
2. If you have multiple hosting services, select the correct one from the dropdown. If you only have one hosting service, it will be selected by default.
3. Under Actions click on Upgrade/Downgrade Options
4. Under Backups, you’ll see two drop downs. On the New Configuration dropdown, select Nexym Rewind (or Daily Backups)
5. Click on the Click to Continue button
6. On the Upgrade/Downgrade page, click the Checkout button (Note: The service payment amount will be automatically prorated to your next service renewal date)
7. Once your payment is processed, Nexym Rewind (Daily Backups) will be activated on your hosting service shortly after.
